It's the 2-year anniversary of Rob Hessler handing the podcast over to Tamara Garvey (after having done it for 5 years)!
To celebrate, Tamara, Rob, and David Laughlin - who also did the show for a few year with Rob - met up for a looooong wild chat about Savannah's creative scene and the art(s) of interviewing and writing about it.

Then, in perhaps our most powerful interview ever, Lisa Rosenmeier Kyriakos talked about the state of the art scene in our community and her role as "canary in a coal mine" in being the first to reopen her gallery space down at Savannah City Market.

With the announcement this week that our good friend Leslie Lovell will be closing the brick and mortar portion of Roots Up Gallery and moving to an online and pop-up model, we be re-aired our 2018 interview with the artist and curator! Tune in to hear all about Lovell and how the gallery got started, as we raise a glass to her and everything that she's done for the Savannah art community!
Prior to airing the interview, we reflected on what the space has meant to us and discussed some of what the future might hold for the gallery as it shifts focus.
