Who in your neighborhood is doing amazing creative things that you don't even know about?
On this week's episode of Art on the Air, we chat with three artists from Parkside in Savannah, folks who you may not have heard of but who could easily be your next door neighbor.
We spoke with multi-disciplinary artist Heather Szatmary about how she utilizes counting and data collection to inform her intricate and beautiful pieces. We dove into how musician Nick Bulka first found his love of music, and what he's doing to bring a large collection of unreleased songs by a prolific local band to the public. And we had a conversation with writer Nicole Rivas concerning her transition from poetry to flash fiction and non-fiction, and what role running plays in her compositions.
Three interesting and fun conversations that you won't want to miss!
