During our nearly hour long conversation, Meadows discusses his African Burial Grounds project in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Confederate monuments, and the Weeping Time grounds. Plus, he gives a preview of his talk “Demystifying the Monumental Burden of Public Art,” set to take place Thursday, May 27 at 6 p.m. at Grand Bohemian Gallery at the Mansion at Forsyth Park located at 700 Drayton Street.
